High Bay Fluorescent Lighting
LMS has replaced existing HID lighting with new high bay fluorescent lighting in many locations including: warehouses, retail stores and production facilities. Shown below are several examples of facilities where new high bay fluorescent lighting was installed in place of HID fixtures to significantly reduce electrical and maintenance costs.
In this example, existing light levels were too low for the work being done in the facility. Light levels were raised
to help employees work more efficiently while reducing system costs.

In this example, LMS replaced existing HID lighting fixtures with new high bay fluorescent lighting and installed occupancy sensors to turn the lights on only when needed. This approach resulted in up to 60% electrical savings to the customer.

This is an example of a grocery store application where there were too many existing HID lighting fixtures which resulted in too much light throughout the store. Working with store management, LMS changed the layout of the facility. We strategically changed the lighting for the each department’s lighting needs. The store reduced the number of lighting fixtures and replaced the remaining HID fixtures with new high bay fluorescent fixtures. Results were significantly reduced operating costs and the utility paid 45% of the installation cost.

Outdoor Lighting
Return to TopSafety and security is a non-negotiable in making sure outdoor lighting is properly working for employees and customers. LMS provides after dark inspections and regular maintenance for many of the building, parking area and roadway lighting systems in northern Utah. In each case our customers have the peace of mind knowing that the lighting system is operating properly and costs are under control.
In this parking lot, LMS replaced existing mercury vapor pole top lighting fixtures with new metal halide fixtures. The result were lower energy costs, by greater than 50%, improved light levels and lower maintenance costs.

LED Lighting

LMS has replaced neon in this type of application for many customers including banks, convenience and retail stores. In addition both occupancy sensors and day-lighting controls were installed to keep lights on only when needed and to take advantage of day light.
